NFC Business Card

I’ve always been fascinated by the intersection of traditional craftsmanship and emerging technology. This business card is one of my experiments in bringing those two worlds together. Printed on 600gsm cotton paper with silver foil stamping and debossed details, it celebrates the tactile qualities of traditional print. Attached to the surface is an NFC chip, adding a layer of digital interaction without taking away from the physical experience. A simple tap with your smartphone opens my professional portfolio instantly. I love the idea that print doesn’t have to compete with technology—it can work alongside it. Rather than replacing physical media, digital tools can extend what a printed object is capable of. This project marked the beginning of my exploration into blending traditional media with interactive technology, an approach that later inspired client work involving NFC-enabled business cards.
